- BEFORE WE MEET (The Homework)
To make the most of our time, please email the following items to AIPexpert121@gmail.com before the call. We will pull these up and review them together during our meeting:
- A Photo Gallery of Your Space:
- View of house from the street
- Garage and the entry into the home
- Front door (including the threshold/step)
- Kitchen, Living Room, and Office
- Outdoor spaces and Guest rooms/bathrooms
- Master Bedroom and Bathroom (including thresholds and views of the shower, floor, and ceiling)
- A Quick Video Walkthrough: Record yourself walking your “normal path”—from the car, through the main living areas, and into the master suite.
- The Essentials: Include a floorplan if you have one , and list your top 3 concerns or your single biggest “Must-Solve” goal.
- DURING THE MEETING (The Strategy Session)
- Discussion of Goals: We’ll talk about your current situation, what caregiver support you have, and what your ideal “forever home” lifestyle looks like.
- Environmental Review: We’ll look at your pictures and video together. I will point out potential fall hazards, safety concerns, and “OT hacks” to make the space work better for you.
- Home Safety Assessment: After identifying the risks, we will discuss practical ways to fix them – from simple DIY modifications to high-impact tech tools.
- Stay or Go Advice: We’ll discuss if your current home can truly support your future or if finding a new space is the smarter investment.
- AFTER THE MEETING (The Roadmap)
- The Plan: You will leave with the five most critical modifications or habit shifts to implement immediately.
- Automated Summary: You will automatically receive a recording and a Gemini-generated transcript/summary of our visit for reference. You can use this to show contractors to know exactly what needs to be done or to share the plan with your family
